Doolie: was selected as a finalist for the Eugene O'Neill Playwrights Conference; invited to the McCarter Theatre Writers Retreat; and featured in the acclaimed reading series at the Abingdon Theatre Company and RRTC’s New Voices. Hunting Humans: Produced in New York, Edinburgh and Los Angeles. Won five Drama-Logue awards (including best writing), an honorable mention for "Best Play" by This Month On Stage and was a "Critic's Choice" on both coasts and across the pond. In a previous life as an actor, Richard worked with Pulitzer Prize-winning playwrights and acclaimed directors, performing leading and supporting roles in dozens of theater productions on Broadway, off-Broadway and across the country. Credits include the Tony Award-winning revivals of Death of a Salesman and The Heiress, the Obie Award-winning production of The Baltimore Waltz, and an acclaimed performance in Look Back in Anger that was nominated for a Helen Hayes Best Actor Award. |
